Recently, Brazil’s Daterra Farm is the first farm in the world to achieve a grade A (highest level) RFA certification for sustainability, and they were the first Brazilian farm to become certified fifteen years ago. Daterra strives to “produce coffee for a better world” by consulting with Sao Paulo State University–Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ) to brainstorm ways the flora, fauna, water springs, and soil could thrive while simultaneously ensuring the preservation of forests and expanding human rights.

Cupping Notes: Well-rounded cup with pronounced chocolate from first aromatic through the balanced finish. When lightly roasted this CHC Espresso is a perfect single shot espresso rich in flavors with a hint of caramelized pecan on the finish. Darker roasting introduces the flavor of semi-sweet chocolate which creates a superb platform for milk based beverages.
